4001 between Phrae and Queen Sirikit dam are fully sealed.

In February they had about 5km left with concrete work.
A few days ago i rode it again to confirm the completion of the work before i update Openstreetmap.
Not a road if you are in a hurry.

Not everyone have the time to wait for the for the concrete work to be done.

Green an lush jungle. Nice and cool.

Along the river towards Phrae there are several coffee shops.

I have been thinking about that one for a while now.
It looks like we have 3 route numbers operating for that link up now.
R1022 - 4001-1163.
Interesting isn't it - different departments & provinces. Highways dept, Rural Roads, Phrae & Uttaradit.
