Yasothon Rocket Festival 2026

1:00 PM: The Rocket Showcase. Beautifully decorated and traditional rockets will be on display along Chaeng Sanit Road (starting from the Provincial Hall).
7:00 PM: Opening Night Festivities: Cheer leading competitions.
"Thida Bang Fai Ko" (Miss Rocket) Pageant at the main stage.
Spectacular Light, Color, and Sound show.
Saturday, May 9, 2026 (Grand Parade Day)
7:30 AM: Royal Trophy Procession and a traditional dance performance to pay respects at the City Pillar Shrine.
10:00 AM: Folk Chant Competition (Kaap Seung): Traditional chanting performances by local residents and youth at the Yasothon Municipality Dome Stage.
3:30 PM: Grand parade assembly of ornate rockets and folk dance troupes.
4:00 PM: Official Opening Ceremony.
The Grand Parade of decorative and traditional rockets.
Folk dance performances throughout the city.
Judging Points: In front of the Main Office, BAAC Bank, and Wat Sri Traiphum.
Sunday, May 10, 2026 (The Launch Day)
7:00 AM: Rocket crews report to the launch site for safety inspections.
8:00 AM: Opening Launch. The Governor of Yasothon and the Mayor lead the "First Launch" and the "Sacred Prediction Rocket" ceremony.
All Day: The Big Launch. High-flying rocket competitions and "Fancy Parachute" rockets taking to the skies.
4:00 PM: Award ceremony for all competitions and the official closing ceremony.
