Accident with rented Yamaha Fino125

Hi guys,

So I had an accident and broke mirror and at least the 3 front panels on my rental Fino in Khorat.
Rented from Mr White at Khorat Bike Rental.

Any tips on negotiation tactics when I bring it back?

The bike still runs fine with front panels not clipping together, but we drove back from Phimai ok Sunday after the boat races.

I'm a bit nervous about him making ridiculous charge to get my passport back!

Go to the Yamaha shop direct & get the parts or a quote.
The parts should be cheap, only plastic.

Youve got the quote. I'd just take the bike back, tell him you fell off, & see how much he asks for.
Dont tell him you've got a quote & then sort it out after.

Got my passport back! Paid 3700baht as he found more cracked pieces. Of course so small cracks he will just glue them.

All of that because we were in a big hurry to see Phimai Boat Racers.

They were great for 20 minutes!

Now in David's Hotel recommendation in Nan Rong.

Very nice 550 baht.

3700 sounds a reasonable and fair price for panels, clips, labour and scooter down time.
