Motorbike for two people (pillion) in Laos?

Dear all,

I travelled SEA by different motorbikes and motorcycles, most time solo but the last year with pillion. In Thailand no problem, I rent a Honda CB500X which was more than enough for two people including side boxes. Now I wanted to travel Laos (or Cambodia) with pillion, if possible. But for Laos, I can only find 125-250cc enduro bikes online, like the Honda CRF, which are perfectly adequate for me alone, used them in Thailand multiple times, but not particularly comfortable for a passenger, and there's not enough room for luggage. Does anyone know of a dealer who rents out larger bikes in Vientiane, like the Honda CB500X or similar?

A Royal Enfield maybe your best option, as Dodraugen suggests.
I thought I saw a report for someone with a Honda 500X for rent, but I cannot find it now.

Just wondering if you have done any of the trips you have requested info for on GTR.
Because it seems as if you must have had a few good rides & trips.
Do you want to share any info on your completed trips?
