What's this bike

Spotted in Pai a few days ago..







The owner insisted it was a CB400SS, but I thought it was just a 400 version of the GB500??
Has anyone else ever seen one, or know anything?

See one of these recently in London, great looking bike that at first glance I thought was a 70's CB125S. Looked into them but they go for stupid money, £3500 - £4000 for a 2006 bike. I bought a 2004 Deauville for £350 instead.
