In Amphur Mae Chan, Chiang Rai, 1 klm south of 1098, about 2.5klms west of the junction with 1209, is Wat Bo Nam Tip.
A magic spring temple.
Parking below the hills to the south, there is a set of about 120 steps.
At the top of the steps...
The spring is named KhamBhuCha.
As the spring is below the top of a line of hills, probably it is effectively filtered rain water coming out of the ground.
Tastes good, guessing that like most small springs, the water has a neutral PH balance of around 7.0
The view NW across to Doi Nang Norn.
There is also a road up to the side of the platform to get to the spring, if you don't like steps.
Actually, I went back a few days later to fill up a few bottles.
