If it was me and if the bike was exactly what I was after I would go anywhere in Thailand, if down south I would fly down and buy the bike if I was happy with it and head north, realistically 2 x days to ride home if in a hurry, otherwise make a roadtrip of it
Another option, which I know someone chose to do this, he had a video inspection, start the bike, video every part of the bike, photos aswell...................................bought the bike and got it shipped to his place, worked well for him
