Tour company and off-road school information?

I am an experienced road warrior but new to dirt. I recently purchased a D-tracker and I'm interested in finding a reputable touring company or school where I can learn some off-road techniques. My time is divided between a village about 60 km south of Udon Thani and Chiang Mai.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
