Hmong funerals can go on for several days; & I attended this one for 3 consecutive days.
And what an experience it was.

The Hmong village of Huai Luk on R107, north of Chiang Dao was one of my favourite Hmong villages to hang out in for several years.
I had multiple good times there for Hmong New Year & a couple of funerals.
One of the funerals for the oldest man in the village was a true national geographic experience & a moving experience, for which I have some vdo somewhere. I will try to dig it out.
