A real brownie points winner....

LONG HOLIDAY IN MAY NEXT YEAR

The cabinet on Tuesday approved a Prime Minister's Office proposal for Monday, May 16, to be declared a government holiday so people could enjoy a five-day holiday from May 13-17, cabinet secretary-general Ampon Kittiampon said.

Friday, May 13, is the Royal Ploughing Ceremony Day, and Tuesday, May 17, is Visakha Bucha Day.

"The long holiday will allow officials and state employees more time with their families during the school vacation. This will also help promote tourism," Mr Ampon said.
