Should I Buy A Ute And Motorbike To Travel Around Sea?

I travel around Thailand and Malaysia as well as sometimes I might visit Vietnam nearly every year and was thinking about buying a Ute and transporting a scooter on the back of it. Would it be cheaper to buy them in Thailand or another country close by? If I want to drive into one of these neighbouring countries, will there be any problems?

I have considered carting a bike around but it would never be in a pick up away from home. A van would be a far more secure and versatile option. Out of Sight of peeping eyes and a place to sleep. This works for me but it’s not in Thailand
