Road east from Xiangdao to Xiang Kok?

Was riding up north from Poung to Xiangdao some moons ago, and headed on to the newish dirt road east riding along the Mekong. Very pretty jungle.

All went well for several 10kms, but then hit an old bridge and the track just stopped and was impass
