There were many wide selection of rental bike in Kathmandu , such as Bajaj,Hero Honda,Yamaha Fz15 , R15 and many more
..I chose the Bullet....
Love the thumping sound !
Rented the bike from Thamel, Kathmandu . With no experience of riding a bike where gear lever on the right side of a bike , I had a hard time riding on the first day . :
First ay KTM - Mugling (a little town between Kathmandu and Pokhara)
Starting by buying gasoline which is well overpriced .Kathmandu always face a gasoline shortage. in the morning there will be 100s of bikes, cars waiting to fill up at the gas station. After 2 hours there is no more gas left . So i have to buy petrol from a local mechanic where they charged me double the price of the normal price
( . I rolled out of Kathmandu about 13.00... The road from Kathmandu to Mugling is quite busy, big trucks and buses allllll the way ! but the nice things is I get to practice my gear shifting for a day
D..
The scenery ...
A check point where you have to pay 10 Nprs which is about 4 bahts
Day 2
(Kathmandu - Bharatpur- Lumbini (Birth place of Buddha) )
The bike wouldn't start ... and the horn didn't work .Took the bike to Local mechanic , changes battery , put on new fuse
Ready to go again !!!
after a while on the road . I spotted this bus taking a nap on the side of the road :!
A rhinoceros statue in Bharatpur .
Riding through Chittawan
Lumbini Gate
The birth place of Buddha
After a long hot day , i decided to rent a room with an AIR CONDITIONER so i rented one
but.....S**t Forgot that most of the time In Nepal there is no electricity :O
anyway I enjoyed good Masala Chips !
Day 3 (Around Lumbini - Pokhara)
World Peace Pagoda :
These two Nepali guys were walking from Lumbini to Pokhara for "PEACE"
It's going to pour .
Got to Pokhara , Dry
Day 4 (riding around Pokhara)
I've decided to stay and ride around Pokhara for a day , due to a very niceeee scenery and people .
view from the hotel
View from SARANGKOT
After Sarangkot - Naudanda I went down heading back to Pokhara and saw hundreds people at the river bank
After I got to Pokhara I heard the news . The news said that there was a flash flood which caused by avalanche from Machapuchare broken a dam in KASKI area .
More than 50 people were killed
Then went up to WORLD PEACE PAGODA
View of Pokhara
After that, rode back down to Phewa lake and watch the sunset
