New CB500X or 2nd Hand Versys?

Hey folks, just a quick one, looking at buying another bike to do some longer distance touring on and toying between getting a new CB500x or a 2nd hand Versys, the Versys is a good all round well proven bike and the CB500X also seems to be getting great reviews although read a few posts/reports on the oil issue,

if you had the cash what would your choice be and why?

More power, a proven tough and reliable design and higher spec suspension make the Versys a winner in my book. I rode a 500X part way around the Samoeng Loop some months back and while it handles quite well it's woefully underpowered.
