Lady wanted 480฿ at Phutawan Place and she was not very friendly so I went to Muang Thong Grand Loei GPS N17.48513° E101.72473° 290฿ great value clean big rooms a/c + fan comfortable, washing machines at the back where you can park the bike too !!!

The guy in the red has been the "bell boy" at the Kings for 30 years.
A top guy, always polite and super efficient.
The rooms
And the big tip is to ask for a room on the ground floor, in particular either of the two rooms at the back, by the rear entrance.
Any guests you may have can discretely walk in via the back door without under going public scrutiny
Everything always works nicely. Aircon. Hot water shower with good water pressure.
A decent bed, plus super clean.
