When I was younger, backpacking around Europe the main phrase I learnt in all the languages was "I'll have 2 beers please & my friend is paying".
Now I'm in the process of trying to learn some of the Thai language for the upcomming Christmas trip. I'm using the Rosetta Stone program which is good but it's rather in depth.
If possible, could you long termers provide me with a list of the best phrases & need to know phrases to learn that would help out on the trip?
English + phonetic if possible.
