International Travel Permit for Bike

Hey All,

Heading to Malaysia and Cambo on a Thai registered bike - went to Hang Dong Road Land Transport Office to get either a ITP or the new certificate.

Was told no longer issue either of them and they are not required

Anyone get one of these lately? If so from where and whom!!

Aksed at Hang Dong Road Office - told no longer issue and don't need.

Anyone know if true?

My partner got hers from the Motor Rego office in Bkk. No problems, but they did add a leading 0 to the rego number. We needed this to get a carnet from the RAC in London.

Pai – Wiang Haeng

Looking at cutting across from Pai to Wiang Haeng without going back to Mae Taeng.
My map shows a b road that cuts South to North from about KM65 on R1095 to Wiang Haeng.
Anybody done these - any info on road etc would be appreciated

Sanpathong – Khun Yuam

Hey Fellow Bikers,
Looking at cutting across from CM to MHS
Wanna try route 1013 from San Pa Tong and then rather than down through Mae Chaem, go straight from Mae Wang to Mae Na Chon and connect with R1263 and onto Khun Yuam
Anyone done this lately - I am on a steed so any details as mud situation appreciated

Saddle bags

Hi All
Anyone know or recommend bike shop in CM to get saddle bags, roll-bar etc for Honda Phantoms
Also a good garage to service the bike
Any help appreciated

I have a good map and it shows it as dirt - just wanted to double check how bad
Did the Ho Chi Min Trail in Laos on a Baja for 10 days and will post details
