I would Love to see a Photo Taken from the Same Spot now!!! The Changes that We have seen over the Past Decades are unbelievable!
The best thing is it continues at an unabated pace. Was just talking to a local expat at nimmanhemin road, where there was nothing just 10 years ago its now the hippest area in chiang mai. There was a single Starbucks branch in chiang mai and a few places with "fresh coffee", now not only are there espresso machines on every block but theres also a barista scene, boutique roasters (many!) and coffe shops that would be in the top ten in san francisco or NYC. Since this year theres craft beers from all over the world, too. Two huge shopping malls opening this year... Love it.
Always great fun to look back for a while ... we know it changes ... but seeing it on pictures is amazing!
