Driving In Thailand New License Regulations?

Hello guys,

I've moved out of Thailand but would like to do some motorbike tours next year.

My last information was that one needs a THAI LICENSE now. That it's necessary to go to Mo Chit and issue one there, given you have an international driver license.

Can you confirm, deny, give advice?

Afaik - if youre in Thailand for a period up to 3 months you wont need a Thai license. An IDP of the 1949 convention together with your national license is good. Longer than 3 months - you will need a Thai license. There is afaik nothing new to this...
