Can anyone supply info regarding the road from CM on the 1269 to Ban Chan then the 1265 to Pai....interested to know road quality and coffee.places to visit

You probably mean CM to Pai via «Wat Chan»
Well theres a very recent trip report from that stretch. Its all paved now so even a roadbike can easily do it...

Pai Loop: (samoeng > Wat Chan > Pai > R1095 >chiang Mai)

Thanks Dodraugen, yes I read that one from Zed, looks great, however I see the 1269 connects southern CM to the 1349 as well, so was looking along that stretch to get there...just a case of if the two roads meet and is tarmac all the way. Heading over in 3 weeks, just need to tighten my plan.

1. R5032 from Samoeng to Huai Mana

Then R1349 from Samoeng to Wat Chan & R1265 from Wat Chan to R1095
