The parade & festival.
I skipped on the 4am spirit ceremonies & the 7am baisri ceremony to start with the official parade led by village spiritual leader Jao-por Guan and Jao-mae Nang Tiam that goes from his house to the temple Wat Phon Chai, where the activities with the Phi Ta Khon ghosts really kicks off.
During the day there are festivities at the wat & lots of people milling around streets waiting for the big parade, which is on day 2.
At night wat Phon Chai is nicely lit up with colourful ghosts.
