When riding on trails like this you need to duck down a lot. And that exposes the neck. No idea of how many times I've been bitten by insects and which insects. So something had to be done.
The solution was a 28 bath wet towel from 7-11 and some testing how to attach the towel to the back of the helmet to protect the neck.
I ended up with gluing a elastic cord to the helmet.
Works very good.
