Hi!

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but anyone know where I can get an after market seat for a cb500x? The stock seat comfort is alright, but I want to raise it an inch or so because it feels a little bit cramped! Any suggestions for local shops or buying internationally are welcome!

Thank you in advance!

What is wrong with getting it modified by Narong.

Thanks a lot David! I saw a post about this a long time ago but couldn't seem to find it! Will check his shop the next time I'm in Chiang Mai but looking for something closer to Bangkok if anyone knows any decent shops!
I second this, anyone know of a good shop in Bangkok? I heard someone say something about a place in Huai Kwang not too far from the MRT but I lost the address.

On another note, how long does it take for K. Narong to fix a seat? I'm planning to make a trip up to Chiang mai and I can't wait to get my horrible himalayan seat modified. does he do one day service? Or perhaps 1-2 days?

Thanks

All my seats - 4 so far - done by Narong took 2 days
Drop off AM one day. Pick up PM next day

Thanks for your reply! sounds good. I'll probably do that as well. I'll give him a call beforehand to see if he has time.

Would be great to have this horrible 'slide your n@t$ in the tank' seat changed and adjusted to something that is less painful.

My Versys was exactly like this -
These help a lot. Not cheap, but worth it -
