Bike related crackdowns to come?

With land-based Visa runs being ended for most tourists, what can owners of imported motorcycles expect?

Predictably, there will be crackdowns coming as well...

All as part of a push for new bikes made in Thailand?

By 'crackdown' do you mean the Thai authorities collecting unpaid taxes?

Immigration issue visas, I imagine it would be the Customs & Excise department interested in imported bikes.

Give it a month or two, all blown over and forgotten about... :shh:

I suppose the the folks who have been taking advantage of the temporary import loophole to keep foreign plated bikes in the Kingdom indefinitely might have to figure out a new way to border run their bikes, but TiT, where there's a will there's always a way! :mrgreen:
