525 Chain In Chiang Rai

Anyone have recommendations where to buy a 525 chain in Chiang Rai? I called the new Triumph dealer but I get the impression the have to order everything from Bkk.

If you still need the
chain I would check with Kong at his bike repair shop. He will nip out and get you one if he can in about 10 mins.

he can get 520 locally, not sure about 525 but he's your best bet for finding one. He will usually drop what he's doing and go fetch one. It's handy to know where he is anyway, if your passing through another time.

Excellent. I’m building a place outside of Thoeng so will be in the area for the foreseeable future. Only an hour away from Chiang Rai so will be in and out for farang stuff

Yes. Everything Triumph cost too much. I need a battery also and Chiang Rai Triumph quoted 1,500 baht more than ordering from a local Thai website. I’ll need my wife to translate for me though. I’m not in a rush so no pom pem

I got a new battery from a shop near Kawasaki ChiangRai for my Bonneville - cost 900 baht but that was 5 years ago. Asking Triumph for a price wasn't even a consideration.... Sorry, I can't quite remember the location - but there are sensible options available
