Confirmation another meeting today for the 2021 Chiang Khong Music Festival - the event is still a goer.

The two smaller "sub-stages" will feature local bands, plus a venue for any other musicians or bands who may wish to come jam by the Mekong River. If you are interested to come and jam, please contact Dr Tom 090 886 0909.
Shirts
A quantity of regular sized shirts up to 2XL size will be available and on sale at the event.
The price is 350 baht.
If you want a shirt 3XL & up, you need to pre order before the 10th of March.
Check in / Registration
There is no pre-registration required.
However as a covid-19 precaution, you will be asked to check in at the event or use the local Sabai Dee Chiang Khong App.
Tickets
There are no tickets & entry is free.

The main stage & venue will be the Tha Pha Tan Pier downtown, central Chiang Khong.

The Tha Pha Tan port in 2019
The current status where renovation is still underway.
This area is considerably bigger, more open, than the port area at Tha Lueua Bak for the first concert.

The 2019 event was originally scheduled to be held here, but the construction got in the way.
Everything is 85% complete now & will be quite satisfactory for 24 April 2021.
The fantastic new Chiang Khong river boulevard
Because of the north - south flow of the river, & steep river bank in Chiang Khong, the riverside area will be in the shade late afternoon.
The on the main stage is scheduled to start at 3pm & from 1pm on the two smaller "Sub-stages."
Mark your time for sunset & moon rise
At 4 p.m., there is " free run for music" running along the Mekong River, a distance of 3, 6 and 12 kms. Run free of charge.
